The Libyan government has freed Somali inmates who illegally entered in its territory, the Somali ambassador to the northern African Arab nation Abdi Qani Mohamed Waays revealed on wednesday.all on a via phone press conference for Mogadishu-based media, the Somali ambassador said that at least ten Somali inmates mostly young humans were freed from a Libyan custody adding that more others are due to be released in the near future. After more efforts and hard struggle, our embassy has achieved to release Somali youths from custody here in Libya and we will stay such duty until all Somali inmates in the country will be freed the Somali diplomat said while his Monday’s teleconference.He said that the Libyan government immigration staff has pledged to succor his embassy repatriate the released Somalis to their homeland.
