GPC Secretary for Public Security meets British ambassador

The Secretary of the GPC for Public Security met in Tripoli on Wednesday with the British ambassador to Libya .During the meeting, which was attended by a number of British experts, they reviewed aspects of security cooperation between Libya and Britain with regards to combating illegal immigration and measures of resolving it.In this regard, the ambassador of Britain asserted his country's keenness to activate security cooperating with Libya, especially border security, combating smuggling, infiltration and providing the sound remedies.The British ambassador reiterated his country's keenness to fully cooperate with Libya in the different areas.During the meeting, they underlined the importance of exchanging expertise between both countries in training Libyan cadres of public security and rehabilitating them by advanced training courses in Britain and Libya on border security and combating infiltration.
